Biography

Meu Percurso began in Graphics, having developed various techniques such as screen printing, stamping, as well as creation in the advertising area. Starting in 1992, I began to explore my artistic work with figures derived from Hollywood film glamor. “There is something melancholic, as in the figures of Edward Hopper, which run through the work of Ubirajara Sanches between erotic suggestion and abandonment, the figures seem to invite us and at the same time alienate us in their spaces. A poetry of charm and disenchantment haunts these figurative montages"

Starting in 1992, I began to explore my artistic work with figures derived from Hollywood film glamor.

Then I started to explore different techniques, in which the female characters excel.
